The School girls were abducted in front of there School gate and has since been rescued by the Lagos State police command,And there abductors apprehended.
The men behind the kidnap of the Babington
Macauley Junior Seminary College girls have been
remanded in jail. Daily Trust reports that a Lagos
Chief Magistrate Court in Ebutte Metta ordered
that the 6 men were arraigned on a five-count
charge of conspiracy, kidnapping while armed
with offensive weapons and robbery.

The accused are Emmanuel Arigidi, Gift Pius, Fred
Omoni, Geofrey Owei, Seun Akanji and Segun
James.
The police prosecutor Godwin Osuji said that the
accused who were armed with AK47s, kidnapped
the three girls and also robbed the principal of
the college, Venerable Olaoluwa Adeyemi, of the
N5.6 million.
He urged that they be remanded in
prison pending when the court gets advise from
the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

The presiding Magistrate, O.I. Adelaja ordered
that the men been taken to the Ikoyi Prison, and
would remain in prison custody until the next
court sitting slated for April 25.
