The Media Director of POT OF AFRICA (Favour Ibex) Set to Mark his Birthday

Describing the glorious days of a gem, is never a finished story without excavating some inputs surrounding his formative years. Eze Chijioke Favour is a name that sends a jingle to most individuals and corporate bodies in Nigeria and West Africa at large. The River state born entrepreneur is the first in a family of eight, preceding 2 girls and 5 boys.

His primary education took him to Central School, Igwuruta in Ikwere Local Government area of Rivers State, before cross carpeting to Central School Inyishi, in Ikeduru Local Government Area, Imo State, where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.

He further enrolled into Premier Secondary school, Owerri, Imo State, as a boarding student, consequently coinciding with his parents relocating to Denmark.

In 2007, he attained his WASSCE, instigating his admission into Kwame Nkuruma University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Ghana, where he obtained a Bsc in Computer Science.

Upon his graduation in 2012, he reversed to Nigeria in an attempt to properly enforce a media and publicity company, which was formally established in 2005, during his days in Secondary School. Growing up, Favour has always had interest in computers and electronics, contributing to his vast knowledge in graphic designs and camera handling.

His quest for more knowledge in information technology paraded him at T-technologies Nigeria Limited, where he studied computer networking and programming in various machine languages including, Java, Oracle and many others.

However, in 2005, he partnered with his friend and colleague, Kingsley Orji to conceive and establish a blogging site, with the name POT OF AFRICA. Meanwhile, during his study days in Ghana, he made several tours to various West African Countries making series of rugged researches on the uses of POT in various ethnic African communities. Findings generated from the researches guided him in putting up the article below;

"In Africa, we have so much value for the pot, our gold, our cowry-shells, our sweet smelling oils, honey, edible clay, food items and so on are stored in the typical African earthen ware pot. Often, the cold water of African traditional households are stored and obtained from this pot, which is usually kept in dug cavities of the kitchen floor. The pot has been contrived to serve as a special music instrument called Udu (In Igbo Nigerian language) which belongs to the idiophone family.
Today, however, we are proud to make a dogged exploration of the pot in an African contest, showcasing its various uses and importance in African communities.
Now that the pot is treasure filled, POT OF AFRICA emerges from this metaphor to capture the attention of the world in a transporting mood, which contained the unhealthy impact of post colonialism that diverted our African societies away from this heritage, POT OF AFRICA".

Favour Ibex is idealistic and believes in innovative techniques for the achievement of his objectives, which state his vision of educating and entertaining through news, event-broadcast, documentaries, movies etc, while also advertising goods and services to the world with the objective of promoting companies, businesses, skilled and talented individuals, thus bringing them to limelight. This invariably makes his clients to believe in their worth.

In addition, today, Mr Favour, is a professional web and graphic designer, video and audio editor, director of photography, media consultant and publicist, currently working as a media director in POT OF AFRICA MEDIA AND PUBLICITY COMPANY.

MEET NIGERIAN CINEMATOGRAPHER "JUSTICE EJIMS" (OJUKWU) WHO INTERPRETES CHARACTERS TO YOUR TV, THROUGH HIS CAMERA LENSE

It pinches a bit how most movie lovers and media outlets celebrate and glorify most of the famous actors and actresses, who star

regularly in nearly every movie on the screen, consequently directing little or no credit to the incubators of these cinematographic arts.

(CREWS).  Interestingly, most of the individuals who manipulate the behind the scene attributes of most of these popular movies we

celebrate, astonishingly remain unrecognized and non credited at a deserving level.

However, one unique figure, whose contribution to the film world has been immense, yet un-glorified remains the very talented, skilled and

dynamic cinematographer, Mr Justice Ejims, who is dominantly addressed by his look-oriented nickname "OJUKWU". He is already carving a

niche for himself in the industry, as he has handled several hit movies and TV contents. He is a typical integration of talent and skill,

which has aided his ability to interpret most stories through his camera lens.

In addition to his raw knowledge in cinematography, his germination in the field was properly schooled and guided by experienced gaffers

in the game, who influenced both his local and international experience in camera mastering. Most recently, he paraded in India, as one of

the cinematographers who handled a major international hit movie in the country, further stamping his name as one of the very best

cinematographers to emerge from Nigeria. Meanwhile, going by recent reports, Ojukwu is currently executing a refined project, which

according to him, is a project that should continue to encode his name into the Award journal.

Bearing in mind the achievements of most of his works, Mr Ojukwu is indeed a figure worth the glory from the public, and as a result, we

choose to celebrate him alongside his beautiful works. Keep up the good work Mr Justice Ejim (OJUKWU), we love you and anticipate to see

more from you as you contribute to the growth of Nigeria movie industry (Nollywood).

Despite threats by the Ayuba Wabba faction of NLC to continue with its planned strike action today May 18th, the Federal Government has advised all workers in the Civil service to resume for work today, saying the no work no pay rule will be invoked in all ministries, agencies and department.

Speaking after a meeting with labor yesterday May 17th, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal said:

“The National Industrial Court has given an injunction that no strike by NLC and TUC should hold tomorrow (today). It is therefore clear that anyone embarking on strike tomorrow (today) is doing so illegally and government is assuring all Nigerians to come out and do their jobs tomorrow (today).

It the duty of government to provide security for her citizens and anyone who tries to coerce any worker to do their bidding would be made to face the law of the land.
We had full cooperation with the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria and they said they are not going on strike. For them, it is a complete return to work tomorrow (Wednesday).

“It is not the same with the NLC however. They have two factions, one agreed completely with the position of the TUC.

Government, therefore, calls upon and advises all workers to respect the laws of the land and to desist from participating in an illegal action.

Government undertakes to guarantee the safety of workers and their workplaces, and expects that normal work will continue in the interest of the nation.

“Accordingly, security agencies have been directed to ensure unimpeded access to offices, workplaces and markets.

Accordingly, all ministers, permanent secretaries and heads of government agencies are hereby directed to invoke the provision of ‘no work no pay’ in respect of any staff member who absents himself or herself from work to join the strike.
