I know very well that the have what it takes to tackle this guys, but the problem is that they keep coming back after regrouping.

The Nigerian military has launched “Operation
No Mercy” in its bid to dislodge Boko Haram
terrorists from Mubi and Vimtim.
According to a report by Thisday, the military
will be more direct in its approach this time
around, and will leave no stones unturned, as
they restore Nigeria’s territorial integrity. The
military will therefore launch an all out
operation against the insurgents.
The constant intervention from the political
class as well as the barrage of criticisms
from Amnesty International and other human
rights groups have affected military
operations, Thisday reports, citing a source.
He said the approach of former Chief of
Army Staff (COAS) Lt-Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika
was aggressive, but effective. He was
however criticized.
Islamist sect Boko Haram has taken over
about five local governments in Adamawa
State, renaming two of the captured towns.
The federal government had on October 17
announced it had agreed a ceasefire with the
sect, but a recently released video, believed
to be from the sect, has dismissed the
government’s claim, with attacks increasing
across the country. The military had since
regrouped to flush out the insurgents.
