Firefighters save boy stuck in tiny gap between two walls.
These heroic firefighters worked tirelessly to rescue a boy who got himself wedged in a tiny gap between two walls.
As the picture shows the boy was unable to move after squeezing in to the narrow space then found it impossible to wriggle back out.
The crying six-year-old is stuck with his arms up against the brick wall, with a concrete wall behind him.
His mother was close to him trying to keep the boy calm as he pleads for help.
She tells him: "Don't move, don't cry, we will get you out soon."
His family had called the emergency services after finding him trapped in the fire break between a water tower and another building.
They had tried to pull him out but the boy screamed in pain.
Firefighters spent an hour drilling through the wall near the boy’s head, slowly freeing up space for him to move and finally lifting him from his concrete prison.
The boy was taken to hospital in town of Shaoyang in central China for a check-up and was discharged the same day.
