Imo state Governor, Owelle Rochas
Okorocha has assured that he will
leave no stone unturned to ensure
that he completes all the projects
his administration has undertaken
before leaving as governor; adding
that he is working to leave an
indelible footprint in the state.
Governor Okorocha gave the
assurance while speaking during
the Easter service at the Holy
Trinity Catholic Parish Ogboko in
Ideato South LGA, stressing that
most Imo people have been
wondering where he got the money
with which he has been doing all
these projects in the state and also
running free education from
Primary to university level and said
ideas and prudence in managing
the available resources have been
the key.
His words, “by the grace of God I
want a situation where when I
leave as governor people will know
that there was a governor called
Rochas Okorocha who governed the
state. I am fulfilling my promise of
rebuilding the state. I am going to
complete all my projects.”
On the Easter celebration, the
governor described the period as
time for love, peace and
accommodation for one another,
adding that the essence of
Christianity is for all Christians to
live life that would reflect the
image of Christ.
