President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Nigeria
for a three-day state visit to Kenya on
Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by President
Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity
Femi Adesina, Mr. Buhari will attend a memorial
service for Kenyan soldiers killed by Al-Shabab
with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.

After the memorial service, President Buhari is
scheduled to meet with Mr. Kenyatta and other
members of the Kenyan government at a Kenya-
Nigeria Business forum in Nairobi.

The Nigerian Ministers of Foreign Affairs,
Finance and Industry, and Trade and Investment
are all expected to meet with Kenyan officials as
well.

After his visit to Kenya, President Buhari will fly
to Addis Ababa for the 26th Summit of African
Union Heads of State and Government. Mr.
Buhari will return to Nigeria on January 31.
