Last April, Cobain's suicide note went viral ,
most notably because it blasted estranged
wife Courtney Love as "b!itch with zits."
The former Nirvana frontman killed himself
via gunshot wound to the head in 1994.
Just over two decades later, Etsy started
selling the above-pictured articles of clothing;
and, although that service has since taken
them down, the shirts can still be purchased
on eBay.
With those donning the items posting photos
on Twitter and Instagram, critics have come
out in understandable force.
"kurt cobain was not diagnosed with a mental
illness and leave a suicide note for it to be
turned into a fashion trend," writes one
Internet user, whole another adds:
