An aide of Muhammadu Buhari says the
presidential candidate of the All Progressives
Congress is far from ill.
It was rumoured that he may be handicapped by
health issues as he campaigns across the South-
South region in Nigeria.
However, a campaign aide of the erstwhile head
of state told Sahara Reporters that the rumours
were spread by the Peoples Democratic Party, in
an effort to undermine the candidate of the
opposition.
The aide also denied reports that Buhari
collapsed in Calabar while addressing party
faithful at a stadium.
According to him, the flagbearer of the APC only
“tripped on his wrapper but quickly regained his
composure and went on to address a large crowd
that had gathered to hear him.”
He also revealed that the Benin City campaign
was postponed at the behest of the Edo state
governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
