The Nigerian military has denied the reported
crash of an Air Force helicopter in Yola, Adamawa
State.
Reports say the helicopter crash occurred
moments after lift off in the Damare
neighbourhood of the Federal University of
Technology in Yola.
It would be recalled that on November 10, a
helicopter on surveillance mission crashed in a
suburb of Girel Local Government Area of
Adamawa State.
Also on November 14, yet another chopper
crashed in Jarenga village near Yola, in the
morning of Thursday.
According to eyewitness account, series of
explosions accompanied the crash, causing panic
in the area.
All four persons on board are believed to have
died when the helicopter exploded.
