According Sahara reporters,
some disgruntled elements of the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) caucus loyal to the
President are planning to cause
commotion and unleash mayhem at the
plenary session and call for the Speaker,
Aminu Tambuwal, to resign his seat.
Failure to comply will resort to chaos, they
allegedly promised.
But meanwhile;
House of Representatives is set
to reconvene on Thursday to decide
finally on the request by the President to
extend the emergency rule in three
northeast states ravaged by Boko Haram. The
states include Bornu, Yobe, and Adamawa.
The President, in a letter to the National
Assembly, requested the approval of the two
chambers to extend the emergency rule in those
states to curtail incessant attacks on the
innocent citizens by the Boko Haram sect.
