A 25-year-old generator repairer, Amaneze
Odunna, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing
another man with a screwdriver and broken bottle
in Lagos.
The suspect allegedly stabbed the deceased, a
certain Sunny Nsuka in the neck, head and back,
after a heated argument broke out between the
pair.
An eyewitness at the scene of the incident
said, “After the victim returned from work, they
discovered that his neighbour and other tenants
were trying to fix their electricity which was
faulty? He told them to be careful with the
electrical connections they were carrying out
because they aren’t officials of Eko Electricity
Distribution Company.”
“The suspect, Odunna, told him to keep quiet and
mind his business or he would slap him.
Suddenly, they were engaged in a scuffle which
later led to the suspect using the screwdriver in
his hand to stab the victim on his hand and
back.”
According to reports, the suspect absconded from
the scene after stabbing the victim. He was
eventually arrested and the case is being
investigated and would soon be charged to court.
The victim is currently receiving treatment at a
separate medical facility at Isolo where he was
eventually taken.
