A 68-year-old retired civil servant has lost N 2.3
million, which he just withdrew from a bank, to
prostitutes at Interbua roundabout, in Asaba,
Delta.
The incident occurred last weekend when
the commercial sex workers hanging around the
area got to know about the withdrawal he made
earlier in the day and seduced him to patronise
them.
The old man reportedly entertained the prostitutes
in an hotel around Anwai road, who seduced him
till he parted with the money.
Speaking of his experience with the ladies,
the pensioner said, “I got to town and settled with
my long time friend in Okpanam town whom I
thought had long disengaged from his Casanova
lifestyle, not knowing that he was still very much
neck deep in the game.”
According to him, the money he went to withdraw
was meant for the purchase of building materials
and planks.
The father of six said his friend encouraged him
to have fun with the ladies, rather than dissuade
him from hanging out with them.
