What happens when a president appoints a
political operative as manager for a major
medical crisis? He skips the meetings. Since his
appointment as “Ebola Czar” on Friday, Ron Klain
has missed not one, but TWO White House
meetings on the disease. That’s helpful, don’t
you think?
But I don’t start until next week"he said.
Since he doesn’t “start his new job” until next
week, apparently he figures it’s not important
enough to get in the groove early. His failure to
show up seems to show his level of concern for
the American people.
